R. Gardner Jolley is the senior member of the firm, and practices primarily in the areas of probate, banking, real estate, and litigation. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California. He then moved to Nevada to serve as law clerk for Justice David Zenoff of the Nevada Supreme Court, 1969-1970. Mr. Jolley has been an instructor in business law at Clark County Community College and has spoken frequently on topics relating to his areas of practice. He is a member of the Clark County and American Bar Associations. Mr. Jolley was a member of the Board of Governors and past president of the State Bar of Nevada, and from 1999 to 2002 he was Chairman of the Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar. Mr. Jolley also chairs the committee established by the Nevada Assembly Legislative Committee to revise the Probate, Estate and Trust Statutes in the 1999 Legislature and since 1998 has been a member of the Standing Committee of Judicial Ethics & Election Practices. He was chairman of the Probate and Guardianship Section, Nevada Civil Practice Handbook published in 1988. Mr. Jolley also is a member of the State Bar of California, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, and the Inns of Court.
