R. Gardner Jolley, Shareholder

R. Gardner Jolley is the senior member of the firm, and practices primarily in the areas of probate, trust, banking, real estate, and litigation in those areas. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), University of California. He then moved to Nevada to serve as law clerk for Justice David Zenoff of the Nevada Supreme Court, 1969-1970. Mr. Jolley has been an instructor in business law at Clark County Community College and has spoken frequently on topics relating to his areas of practice. He is a member of the Clark County and American Bar Associations. Mr. Jolley was a member of the Board of Governors and past president of the State Bar of Nevada from 1978 to 1986. He was also Nevada Representative to ABA House of Delegates from 1986-1988 and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nevada Law Foundation from 1988 to 1990. From 1999 to 2002 he was Chairman of the Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar. Mr. Jolley also chaired the committee established by the Nevada Assembly Legislative Committee to revise the Probate, Estate and Trust Statutes in the 1999 Legislature and from 1998 to 2005 was a member of the Standing Committee of Judicial Ethics & Election Practices. He was chairman of the Probate and Guardianship Section, Nevada Civil Practice Handbook originally published in 1988. Mr. Jolley also is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Association for Justice, the Nevada Justice Association, the Legal Netlink Alliance, the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council, the Litigation Council of America and the Inns of Court.
